Project code 2021-1-IT02-KA220-ADU-000029989

Streets Aligned acronym of "Supporting educators towards a LGBTIQ + Inclusive Education" is a two-year project co-financed by Erasmus + program of the European Commission (Key Action 220).

Streets Aligned is coordinated by Idrisi Cultura e Sviluppo and involves, as a partner, CIG NORA, a feminist study center based in Brno, Czech Republic, Arista Deka, start-up specialized in project visibility and dissemination based in Nicosia, Cyprus and I.I.S.S Pio La Torre, second grade high school based in Palermo, Italy.

The aim Streets Aligned is to create a "sense of urgency": homobitransphobia, bullying, intolerance are problems that permeate our daily lives, as do misunderstanding and the removal of otherness, especially in the educational field. However, these issues can be addressed through new pacts and coalitions, sharing a new vision of education and producing concrete implementations with the educator-learner relationship at the center.

Streets Aligned aims to achieve concrete results and objectives, modeling upskilling units, original toolkits, policy recommendations and pilot courses that integrate formal, non-formal and informal activities, useful for guiding educators, teachers, trainers and youth workers in the vast world of LGBTIQ + Inclusive Education, suggesting practices and strategies to integrate these issues into their daily care and teaching work.

The project started on February 1, 2022 and will end on January 31, 2024.
